chicomarx ◊ 2008-09-06 05:13	This car in each of the three colorized versions: The first: Hal Roach Studios in the 80's, yellow car and green zombies. The second: made by Hal Roach too but released by Anchor Bay (and Stax Entertainment) Blue car and it has flesh coloured zombies. And the third: from 2004 by 20th Century Fox. It has a red car and some kind of green zombies. Actually I think green would be the right choice for zombies/deteriorating corpses. I've seen Dr. G.
Skid ◊ 2009-02-07 06:50	Funny, actually: I saw several behind-the-scenes color photos of the filming on a "Living Dead" fansite a couple of years ago, and they showed the car was actually light metallic green! None of the colorized versions quite got it right! An interesting piece of trivia: This car was actually borrowed (it belonged to one of the actor's in-laws, I believe) and was used as transportation by practically everybody working on the film. Someone using the car was involved in an accident which bent the driver's side of the car severely, so ever resourceful, the director inserted the shot of the car being pushed a long a tree, to make it appear as if hitting the tree stopped it and damaged it.

CarSpecialist ◊ 2019-03-09 09:15	There were two separate LeMans used in this movie. The one that hit the tree was a bluish green color with a black top. The one that never hit the tree was red with a white top. You could not tell the difference because this film was made in black and white. They were both a 1967 LeMans
Skid ◊ 2019-11-07 20:06	From the pic above, the factory color appears to be Linden Green. From other details, it appears to have a 326 V8, column shift automatic, and apparently factory A/C.
