D'après un fan, il s'agit plus vraisemblablement d'un Ford Expedition. Merci à lui pour la correction... |

¿? It crashes, but don´t explodes, the last time we see the car, is when the airbag kills Cath... The car what explodes was the News channel Caravan... |

^ Actually, there's a third one used for the airbag scene. As you can tell from the photos above there is no sunroof. If you look during the airbag scene there is a sunroof. Somebody didn't pay much attention to detail. |

My Uncle Nick owns a Gen.1 Ford Expedition. It's a 2002, not a 1997. |

And the grill is larger - from the then-new F150 facelift. I think there were even Expeditions with the 1997-98 XL front end... |

Looks like they stripped the poor thing of its factory two-tone and painted it silver. ![]() |

I wonder if a person could survive the log crash in real life, and whether the Expedition would flip over like that. I'm guessing the answers are yes and no. |

Doesn't look like a Eddie Bauer but a XLT. -- Last edit: 2023-04-03 14:17:29 |

XLT wouldn't have painted mirrors or fog lights -- Last edit: 2024-07-19 18:02:06 |

old comment, knew that XLT's also had a chrome grille... ![]() but the wheel-arch's aren't visible, looks like they were removed and also, in some XLT models, they had fog-lamps on the bumper according to this GTcarlot page or that brochure page But otherwise, I had no idea why they painted over the chrome parts anyways... -- Last edit: 2024-07-19 18:37:18 |

![]() in the same brochure , on the options page , they say the fogs are not available.. ![]() Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.org" |

I guess the brochure makers made a mistake... ![]() |

Guys this is a Canadian model. That brochure pertains to US models. Sometimes differences between our markets exist. |
◊ 2024-07-19 20:13 |
yeah but no matter the market, they shouldn't post a pic of a XLT with fogs and state a few pages after that they're not available.. |
