Used by the bad guys to chase the Mercedes driven by McClane. After the end of the chase, McClane takes the Dodge to catch the boat. -- Last edit: 2010-10-10 01:18:21 |

This truck is apparently shown with different wheels. |

A couple of shots, the truck is seen with the base model steel rims (shown in the picture), then it is shown with the aluminum five-spoke rims, and when it is about to be pulled off the bridge it has custom rims. I wonder why they couldn't stay with one model of rims on this Dodge? ![]() -That pissed me off when the truck was pulled into the river. -- Last edit: 2007-06-26 03:54:19 |

Antp’s capture here, shows the Ram 1500 was equipped with the rear standard (open) differential which cannot control torque in the event of traction loss. Thus producing what you see in the capture - right rear drive-wheel helplessly spinning, left rear drive-wheel stationary. A rear limited-slip differential (LSD) was optional to help correct this problem. Traction control was not available for this generation. The capture also shows the Ram did have impressive axle articulation and wheel travel. -- Last edit: 2010-10-12 02:29:53 |

Not only the wheels change during the chase. That pieces covering the front lights dissappear in some moments of the chase.I love this chase, anyway. |

Not only the front lights covers disappear, the bonnet and the grill of the vehicle disappears as well. -- Last edit: 2016-09-17 16:39:17 |

Headlight covers were made GT Styling (or GTS for short). |

Wow! Its a good thing that truck just so happens to conveniently have a winch on the front of it that the two hero's use to board the boat and save the day. |

The correct trim level is SLT Laramie by antp's 3rd thumb. |
