Plate design has no effect, could be any year before or equal to 2014, unless if that plate can be actually also borrowed, not legit in that car, but we shall never know since there's no way to decipher plates from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. If this movie takes place in 2013, then this one would've been potrayed as brand new in its role there.

I just meant that they forgot to swap the plate design for an older one, i wasn't suggesting that this is a 2014+ model year at all.
