Could this be 1983-84 GMC Vandura? |

GM tends to switch the names around for the GCC market, so this would be a...GMC Sportsvan? Beauville? |

I ain't sure at this point, it has a GMC badge as you can see below but sadly, no clear footage of the name plate on the front fender. The poor quality doesn't help either. Can we just put Vandura or something for now? ![]() |

Wiki - Offered in 1500, 2500, and 3500 series, the GMC Vandura cargo van (stylized as VANdura from 1977 to 1982) and GMC Rally passenger van were the GMC counterparts of the Chevrolet Chevy Van and Sport Van; the GMC Gaucho was a five-passenger counterpart of the Chevrolet Nomad van. In line with the GMC Sierra pickup truck, the Rally passenger van was produced across multiple trim levels, with the Rally Custom and Rally STX matching the Bonaventure and Beauville, respectively. Based on what is seen in the pics, a Vandura. -- Last edit: 2022-11-23 00:57:33 |

^^ has nothing to do with export models or GCC nomenclature. |

Based on used car market search and a photo or two of Ambulances from back in the day. It seems that GCC spec Chevy/GMC vans should have the same names to those from North America, although it's worth pointing out that both USDM and GCC spec models coexist in the market here. Unfortunately, couldn't find any brochure or dealership advertisements for this particular model. I found Suburban, Yukon, C/Ks, Safari's, Savana's, Brazilian built B10s pick ups and such but no such thing for the Vandura/Van. -- Last edit: 2022-11-23 10:37:55 |
