Strange details - the jerry cans on the front block the sidelights, explaining the possible attached reflectors and maybe also the sidemarkers on front wings. As far as I know, local build was S2 into early S3 (but away from home so can't check my L-R bible for a few days). Likely UK sourced, but ZA build could be possible; Rhodesia also seems to have started with S2. |

Driving the Land-Rover is the late Sir Christopher Lee, who would go on to play many memorable roles such as Count Dracula, Scaramanga and Saruman. |

Now confirmed - no Kenya builds before S2, and same for Rhodesia builds. ZA did build some S1 107" in 1954-55, so is a possible source, but UK seems most likely. |
