Good thing another one comes up - time to correct an old inaccuracy of mine. That inaccuracy is so old, it possibly spends its spare time streaming Billie Eilish tracks and making reaction videos about it on TikTok nowadays! Anyway, back to topic:

There is no evidence to be found for the "de Ville" bit in the model name and back in the day I relied on what the pre-owner of 'our' ACC convertible told me. It was a rumour! American Custom Coachworks simply called these convertibles 'Paris', just like they called almost everything else 'Paris'. Well, maybe except for Paris, as was it already named like that.

I bet even their office furniture and their paychecks were called 'Paris', just like the smurfs call everything 'smurf'! My very own conspiracy theory is: When ordering the scripts (as seen on the 3rd thumbnail), American Custom Coachworks possibly intended ordering 1.000, but had either a bad phone connection or simply a Brother fax machine, ended up receiving 10.000 'Paris' scripts and subsequently were in urgent need of finding enough problems for the solution they now had.

I updated all the others now accordingly.
