1997+ model (1997-2005 range) Malibu |

That looks strongly like the Classic badge of the 2004-05. |

Most likely a dealer badge like this one shown here: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/32268785-6.html I have not seen any 2004-2005 classic's with any right rear trunk-lid badging. |

Classic, not Malibu. |

Fixed ![]() Running the VINs on these brings back Malibu Classic. Let me looks up more official documents but these should be listed as Malibu Classic. Not just Classic. Run the VIN on this one: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/99391589.html -- Last edit: 2019-07-07 01:03:57 |

This one here comes up as a 2004 Chevrolet Classic, not a Malibu Classic. http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/70748790-6.html Same with this 2005 one: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/62243522-44.html Link to "secure.carfax.com" Which one came up for you as Malibu Classic? -- Last edit: 2019-07-07 01:14:38 |

Don't use Carfax. Use Autocheck. They all come back as Malibu Classic on there. I just ran yours through there. |

Ran it myself and I agree, they came up as Malibu Classic’s. I’m in agreement they should be listed as such. Shouldn’t this apply to later model Malibu Classic’s such as the 2008 one? Well I ran the VIN on a 2008 Classic and I would say no. Autocheck lists the trim before the Classic unlike GTCARLOT. One came back as an LT Classic. https://www.autocheck.com/vehiclehistory/?siteID=0#showSearchVin http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/81685484-19.html Same with the LS one https://www.autocheck.com/vehiclehistory/?siteID=0#showSearchVin http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/25999990-13.html -- Last edit: 2019-07-07 08:20:38 |

Agree on reclassifying these as Malibu Classic. |
