buggvert ◊ 2021-12-20 07:54	I am assisting the current owner of this car to sell it. There are distinguishing visual characteristics that help verify it is in fact the car in the show. Season one, episode two starts the car as a primary support character for the episode. You can watch it on YT as of 12/2021, where you can see characteristics that seem to identify it’s a 1972 or later Beetle. However, it is in fact a ‘77 In the episode, the vent behind the rear quarter window is visible, as are the “elephant foot” tail lights. They also feature the use of the sunroof, in at least one scene. The VIN number on the car I’m selling, which I’m certain is this TV car, is: a 1977 Mechanical Fuel Injection, dual port, 1600 flat four, with Riviera rims & sunroof. SPOILER ALERT: the real car does not talk, and the bumper doesn’t smile. It’s 12/21 at the time of this post. buggvert ◊ 2021-12-21 01:01	NO, it’s not a 73. It’s a 77. 73 to the end of flat windshield beetles had the vent and big taillights. I have the actual car, and the vin is a 77.
