jpts ◊ 2020-07-08 12:29	Lee Miglin was a 72-year-old real-estate developer who was stabbed and slashed by Cunanan in the garage of Miglin's home in the Gold Coast Historic District on the Chicago's Near North Side on the 4th May 1997. After killing Miglin, Cunanan took Miglin's Lexus from the garage, leaving Madson's Jeep on the street near Miglin's home and the scene of Miglin's murder. As the Lexus was equipped with a car phone, investigators tracked the car phone's activities, hours after the murder on the 4th May, the Lexus' car phone records showed that Cunanan drove the Lexus from Illinois to Union County, Pennsylvania before driving the Lexus to Philadelphia on the 8th May, before crossing the Stateline into New Jersey on the 9th May and then driving to Penns Grove and then to Carneys Point Township. Miglin's Lexus was found at the scene of the murder of Cunanan's 4th victim and caretaker, William Reese at the Finn's Point National Cemetery in Pennsville Township, New Jersey. I've done a little bit of research on it, and it was indeed a 1994 Lexus LS400 in Black Jade Pearl (no info given on the interior color, which could have been Ivory Leather, Gray Leather, or Black Leather for 1994 models) with Illinois license plates YKD 399. See page 4 of this document for details on it: Link to "vault.fbi.gov" And this video: Link to "www.cbsnews.com" I wasn't able to find any information on whether the car was recovered. But one thing is clear: the filmmakers of this series got the wrong model.
