dsl ◊ 2018-05-03 16:13	Tints, headrests, patterned seat cover, cheap black plastic steering wheel, 1980s mirrors, 12" wheels. Can't see 1986+ side indicators in main, but there may be one in first thumb in the position used on pre-86 Made-for-I spec. imdb only lists Argentina and Spain as locations, so any clue where filmed?? But 1985 Mayfair seems a good match under the Cooperesque paint, so Gamer wrote I think a Mark IV or V. Not a VI. is on the button as a 1985 MkV.

dsl ◊ 2018-05-03 16:52	Interesting to see a mid-80s UK car in Argentina, so soon after Falklands war. Maybe then a recent import from LHD country (which means Europe as the main 1980s export area), and that the apparently Made-for-I side indicator may be accurate??

There are also a couple of episodes at the end of season 2 where they fly to Madrid, but the Mini appears only in Argentinian scenes. Btw, the same character drives another similar Mini /vehicle_1084895-Mini-Mayfair-ADO20-1983.html at the beginning of the series, and it was recognized as Italian-spec
dsl ◊ 2018-05-03 18:27	At least I'm consistent in my ramblings. But having two of them as "Italian-spec" is a bit strange. It's not one car which has had a bit of a repaint and badge swapping as the other does not have a radio aerial. So maybe both are RA-spec, and Minis were sold there in early 80s after all???
