That's my question: were any special editions (either 1200, Golf I or Golf II) assembled in YU, or just the common basic versions? |

I tried to do a search, there are several Madisons for sale on used car sites from ex-Yugoslavia https://www.njuskalo.hr/auti/vw-golf-ii-1.6-madison-oglas-5644930 https://www.njuskalo.hr/auti/vw-golf-ii-1.6d-madison-oglas-16512544 Link to "www.njuskalo.hr" Don't know where they were sourced, if they were available on the Yugoslavian market maybe they were also locally built, but how to know? ![]() |

Let's wait for some YU-car experts. I'll ask the CIMOS/TOMOS Citroen GS owner, whom I've recently sold a taillight via eBay. -- Last edit: 2018-04-10 20:39:05 |

We had DonSergioMorello from Serbia, who, by what I remember, wrote once, that except TAS made Golfs II, many were also imported "privately". Mostly in 1990s I guess. |
