No. Late again and THAT'S IT! +1 I'm leaving this site forever because.... First, I'm tired seeing JB's post body like that above, then, I know some of you are good for providing cars right here with some cars left as Unknown, which it's up to me to catch it, but one important wish here, I WANT an Edit button and this site doesn't have it! Therefore I'd prefer IGCD more because it got an Edit button function, which is very helpful, and this site lacks of it! So with no more words, thank you, thanks for nothing... It looked like a Mitsubishi Pajero from a distance. BTW, Axel24 has a very good point. If users on IGCD can edit cars, I don't see why they can't do the same on this site. |

For the next version of the site we made an "edit contribution" feature and/or something to "flag" missed posts (depending on the users, as some may abuse of these functions). In the meantime if comments are missed they can be reported in the appropriate thread on the forum. And sometimes they are just waiting for a confirm from another user. Hi... *long silence* ...it's been a while. If y'all don't know; I previously go here by the name 'Axel24' (yes, that guy in a couple of comments above in this particular entry), but technically, some of you might actually also find me under this same username (albeit without 'ID' at the end) in a site called Internet Game Cars Database (IGCD) – Well, starting from today, I'm announcing my start-over in IMCDb from scratch with this following new account and username. Yes, starting THIS day, this ISN'T a very early April's Fools joke. From now on, you may instead refer me as 'Rush' or 'RushCars' (I know, worst naming pick for my own username but I'm not gonna explain that here. I'll saving that soon in my profile page). Not only with the new name but also possible new future opportunities to make. First, I wanna do apologize to everyone for my previous actions in a couple of posts above about a while back. I must admitted... I kinda like this site, at least; it provides good information on road vehicles appearing in movies, television series, and animated films, which I can even use it as some kind of a sightseeing spot. It's like I'm viewing a fan art posted in DeviantArt, and my all-time favorite, My Little Pony-based Derpibooru (yes, I'm a brony). But that's not just only watching the entries; given to what this site's original purpose and much like IGCD, correcting information on vehicles is also another key to my part, which I already helped out some entries (and even my first time on updating an existing contribution) back in my old account. Technically, it was the listed Indonesian movies and TV series that brought me back but while the presence of Indonesian films in IMCDb are great signs, the problem on those is the lack of users having knowledge to the Indonesian automotive industry itself. This eventually bothers me a lot, especially my POV as a proud local whose grown up as a car guy since young, and has carefully followed the Indonesian car culture and automotive industry ever since. And there was the recent times being the second reason for this comeback, because much of us recently, we've been locked (and even work) inside our homes due to the recent events. Due to that "recent times" and the Indonesian films listed here, I thought myself to finally changed my mind, as if "guess I made a mistake on retiring from this site. It indeed really needs me". And so, here we are again – A new account and a fresh restart with new plans ahead. You might be wondering; why I returned here by creating a new account under a different username? Well, there's two reasons why — The former is totally obvious, but the latter is the true reason why I go ahead and did this... 1. I LOST my old account's password, which was changed to a very long long one, and even can't remember the email I've put in that account. To confess this; I actually have a very bad memory. Yep, a very bad memory would mean it's easy for you to make them lost forever. 2. I'm not very satisfied with my previous username 'cause it looks very exposed for my identity. Besides, 'RushCars24ID' has been long associated as a staple name in many other sites for a while (including Derpibooru) and already got some recognition by users from the other sites, resulting a mass rename on each site would be very impossible. Speaking of impossibility, I acknowledged that this site, as well others including IGCD, don't allow to change my username, so makes more sense I have to put a final nail in the coffin of my old account. Despite it's a comeback, my schedule won't be like I did in my old account; it will be a very rare active session on some random occasions, particularly to balance my IRL activities, and activities in other sites I'm in (well, a lot ever since), such as Internet Game Cars Database (just because they got an "Edit" button feature for non-moderation users, something that IMCDb will never include) and Derpibooru. Also, my commenting agenda on most preferred vehicle model visits will be a split difference depending on my account status; by normal means, I'll be only focusing to those that existed here in Indonesia, which it's combined between the Indonesian market itself (either sold officially or privately grey-imported) and international markets outside that said country (e.g. Toyota Avanza in Mexico, Toyota Innova in India, Toyota Alphard in its native Japan) — The latter may require a lot of market specification research since at this moment, only Indonesian specifications being well commonly known. I have already prepared a long list of my most liked not-for-Indonesia vehicle models in my mind already; things like my all-time favorite Cadillac Escalade, or Dodge Grand Caravans, or 90s JDM legends, or maybe a Kia Stinger. May be an extreme chance I'll slap one or two between the Indonesian-bounded vehicles in some of my comments but generally, I'll rather saving those up for a future goal (not gonna reveal that yet). Addendum to moderators or admin – can you deactivate my older account (Axel24) seen in previous posts above?
