From the above link:
Quote Thiokol earned a mention in GALACTICA's closing credits.

either way this is probably a Thiokol Spryte base with fake body

From here:
Quote I have since looked into this subject in more detail and it is not the same chassis as that of the Chariot, it looks very similar but is much smaller. The Landram does not use the Thiokol "Spryte" chassis, it uses the "Imp". The Imp is only 6 feet wide and the tracks are only 2 feet wide. The Chariot on the other hand is a little over 8 feet wide. Also, the Imp has sets of leaf-spings mounted to the outside of the bogey wheels which are rarely visible in photos. The Spryte chassis does not have these outer springs.

the IMP is quite small

Try using people as a frame of reference.

Chariot

Landram

Which one is bigger?

skywatcher68 US

Maybe the Landram is a Super Imp.

WRT "Made for Movie" status, that's a judgement call for the admins and seems to depend on how much has been changed from the original product. The Chariot is obviously not a Thiokol any longer so it gets "Made for Movie".

The Landram/Snowram are modified Thiokol "Spryte" of an unknown model. The Power Sled is a modified "Imp".
In the first picture on the left side it says Spryte and it is the same in the second.

Here is a link to a site with these pics and more. Look up Landram and snowram un colonial section https://www.byyourcommand.net/cylongallery/index.php?cat=39

I remember reading some time ago that the Chariot was found at a ski resort and someone bought it and restored it.
Unfortunately I can't remember what chat boad that was.
He said it still looked basically the same as it did in the show (some mods).
The Chariot and Landram are two different "snowcats". Easy to spot with size and different tracks.

I was looking for Thiokol Spryte Landram on the internet and found this site: https://en.battlestarwiki.org/Landram

However, this site dispute when I look between Imp and Spryte and found some have sprocket at the rear drive

Looking at between covered version and open version, the covered version has five wheels on each side while the open version has four wheels on each side. Could this be a different model?
