I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm betting it's five stars. |

Why does Bumblebee always change into a new model year Camaro between movies? |
◊ 2018-02-09 00:50 |
Because Michael Bay can't make up his mind on what Camaro he should stay as. |

because he receives $$$ from GM to showcase the newest model |

But why don't they ever look like the actual production models? |
◊ 2018-06-11 22:48 |
...because they're pre-production models? |

Hey, at least this looks like the upcoming 2019 Camaro... |

@hachirokutrueno More or less, yeah. Needs some extra work to look like TLK!Bumblebee, but still. ![]() -- Last edit: 2018-08-06 01:14:22 |

That Camaro looks nice, even if the 2007 version is the best of them all. I believe Bumblebee went back to a VW Beetle. |

2016+ Camaro's are built in Michigan, not Canada. |

Funny that since the 2nd movie, GM has "teased" the future Camaro models: - In Transformers 2 & 3, they teased the ZL1 - In the 4th movie, they teased the Mk.6 - And in this movie, they teased the facelift Mk.6 -- Last edit: 2021-01-17 21:12:14 |

They did that in the first movie as well. For the latter half Bumblebee was the 2008 Camero concept. -- Last edit: 2021-02-24 15:52:53 |

I know, but the only difference is that 2006 Camaro Concept had already been revealed outside the first Trasformers, while the rest were made exclusively for each movie |

The Camaro in AOE was supposed to preview the fifth gen Camaro facelift that came out in the same year; imo it looks nothing like the sixth gen Camaro. -- Last edit: 2025-06-09 05:19:58 |

Yes, 2016–2024 is the sixth gen, which rides on the GM Alpha platform. The fifth gen Camaro (2010–2015) was on the GM Zeta platform. |
