The new Bentleys and R-Rs are a complete mystery to me, and the idea of chucking muddy wet sailing gear into a Bentayga, or using one to tow my tin shed on wheels doesn’t seem right. I worry about the 19 inch wheels with low profile run flat tyres on my Mercédès, so going off road with the sort of wheel/tyre equipment generally seen on the Bentayga is just beyond a joke. While I would like one of the modern (by my standards) two door four seat Bentleys, and could probably stretch to one of the early ones, I hear disturbing things about reliability and parts availability on the cars of that era, so the current Merc is probably about my limit.
