Interesting set of brochures, but illustrates very clearly the sort of problems faced by these small manufacturers. If you could afford £1300 in the early 1960s you were better off to go for a TR4 or MGB, or maybe even a second hand XK. The 105E powered model was about the price of a Spridget, and the car based on 30s Ford Ten bits would have been a bit of a slug. I would date that brochure as early 60s, not 50s because the 105E engine wasn’t around until late ‘59. |
