The sad part is, the tunnel scene at the end is chock full of cars in several shots, but it's so foggy it's impossible to get any decent screenshots of any of them except for one crumpled sedan that happens to be nice and visible in the foreground of one shot. The mantis even throws a whole car at the men but it's impossible to tell what it is!

Only after the fog has cleared at the end (when the mantis is dead) are any of the cars visible and then it's only the shots with the Chrysler Windsor and the Pontiac Streamliner. Heck, this is an issue not limited to the tunnel scenes: outside scenes at night are very foggy. There are more cars (and two motorcycles) in the scene with the Dodge Custom Royal and the halftrack but again, it's either too foggy or there's too many people in the shot, obscuring the vehicles.

Clearly, The Deadly Mantis wasn't made with any foresight for the IMCDB. XD

A problem (if you can call it that) with a lot of older films it seems, wherein the cinematography tended to focus on the actors rather than the environment or things in the environment (like cars).

Done: pictures from a DVD with higher resolution and no watermarks. Some new vehicles.

The toy truck above looks like a Tonka piece from 1956. It was available in three colors that year: Dark metallic blue when sold individually, orange when sold as part of the State Highway Set, or red when sold as part of the Builders Supply Set. The one pictured is most likely the blue one.
