Haven't seen that one yet; but I did see Il posto (1961) and I fidanzati (1963) and they are among my favourites.

Btw I am a bit confused right now because I just noticed that this movie (for tv) is said to be the first segment of Olmi's 'Racconti di giovani amori' (1967), so this one should be merged if that is the case:
1) La cotta
2) La regina
3) Il ragazzo di Gigliola

Other sources however say that 'Racconti di giovani amori' consists of the following segments:
1) Nino il fioraio
2) Bomba vale a dire
3) Ballata beat di Vincenzo
4) Franco e Antonio gli scienziati

 According to La cinémathèque française, which is a sound source, Racconti… is a three-episode movie, La cotta being one of the three espisode.

That La cotta lived an independent life before Racconti… is not very surprising, if it was produced by the television. Since it's as tv-movie you get it, it's as tv-movie you post it, that's OK.

When one of us will get Racconti…, then we'll advise what to do with the La cotta episode. Probably, if the editing is the same, sending a link to this page.

Are La regina and Il ragazzo di Gigliola independently available anywhere?
