Just to clarify, because I've been looking up cars here for awhile, but prior to today I'd never tried adding a car before: Is the idea that this series belongs to someone, and therefore if one adds anything from the last three eps, it'll get deleted? TBH, I don't see the rationale for that (as it seems like something gets erased just so that after a delay it can be recreated again by somebody else), but if that's what the policy is for adding vehicles then I can respect that there have to be rules and the rules need to be followed. I just want to be clear about what the rules are so that I don't waste my time or cause others to need to waste their time undoing things if I mess things up. -- Last edit: 2015-08-10 12:14:32 |

Here there was some miscommunication between admins, we wanted to avoid seeming rude for your first contribution, but it seems that one of the admins missed the discussion about that in the forum. Sorry about that. Normally when someone is working on a series, he is the only one adding pics. For just one main car in a series it is not a big deal, in this case it could have been accepted with just a remark for future contributions. The reason behind this "rule" is that we want to avoid cases where many people add cars to a same series more or less at the same time, with the risk of duplicates ; or that other people than the main/original contributor add several vehicles, as that makes the work more difficult for the original contributor to follow what has been added or not (and sometimes he is making captures for nothing since other people add them before he has time to do it). So for series the "rule" is to see if it seems active or not before adding things, i.e. if there are recent comments on the page (or the vehicle pages added recently): if there is not really activity usually it means anyone can add things to it.
