^ backgrounds: - agree Austin 1100, probably Mk2 grille - Minis - the white roof pair in Smoke grey and "light Blue" (= Surf Blue, a very mid-60s colour) are probably Coopers - the "Mini Clubman" is an all-steel Countryman/Traveller - probably an Austin 850 Countryman, as Morris was less common in F from previous comments. Clubman range launched Oct 69, so just after film date. - Unknown Cabriolet - agree Triumph, not sure if that chrome strip in hood means Vitesse over Herald. I'm always intrigued how many Brits crop up in late 1950s into 1960s Paris films. Seems much higher proportion than same age films in other parts of France. |

Indeed, Paris area beeing richer than other parts of France, and culturally more open to exoticism, could afford higher prices of foreign cars at this period… British cars did also fulfill snobbery inclination of some Parisian people, replacing in that way the fashion of US cars in the previous décades (1940, 50's) |
