This is the only time I've ever heard of a director lending his house for filming. I was really wondering where this was located because there are no other houses in view and the vineyard is not shown in the movie. Now it makes sense why the house is by itself. The house used is actually director Francis Ford Coppola's own house on his vineyard in Napa Valley. I added this filming location to IMDB. This is the only time I've ever heard of a director lending his house for filming. I was really wondering where this was located because there are no other houses in view and the vineyard is not shown in the movie. Now it makes sense why the house is by itself.
