Vera Miles drives a sedan in this film although I have no idea what it is.

I think it was a "cheap" economy Ford of some kind...probably supposedly a rental in the story. I've seen this movie several times in the past, and I'm actually in the middle of watching this movie again right now, . I'll try and remember to look for Vera and her car. :)

Okay, the car Vera Miles drove in this film was a new model (at the time) light green-colored Ford Granada Sedan--either a 1981 or 1982 model as most of the filming took place in 1982. It's hard for me to tell which year it was?? Vera's character of Lila had gone back to the fictional Fairvale, California to stay and try to get Norman Bates re-committed. So, the Granada was probably supposed to be a rental. The movie was originally to be released in 1982 (as in the film it's stated it's 22 years later from the original "Psycho"--which would be 1982) but some kind of delay caused the film to be released sometime in 1983 instead.

Thank you, HunterMan! With your help, I was able to create a page for Vera's '82 Granada :)

@TheAnimalUniverse - Is there a star-rating for the Dodge Monaco?

Four even, five if you include Psycho 98.

A 1974-1978 AMC Matador taxi is used both in this movie and Psycho III, and oddly isn't listed for either.
