Steve McQueen trying to drive the trans am and wheel spinning everywhere was hilarious. Then when He returns with the car in pieces on the recovery truck and hands the keys back, classic McQueen comedy!. |

I remember this stunt happened not far where my father used to work. This stunt happened at the Marina City, downtown Chicago as describe at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marina_City#Cultural_references . |

This stunt was mimicked in an Allstate commercial with an '81 Cutlass Supreme going into the river |

Thanks cántabro. DVD-Rip 1'45 Gb. Only in the chase inside Marina City building (parking) I could have get 15/25 pics more, but I have prefered to capture whole cars than with partial views ones. |

A chase with a muscle car and an oversized tractor? That's hardly fair. It'd be like a footrace between Shaq and John Goodman. |

Steve McQueen's final movie and only the third movie he did after The Towering Inferno. For some reason, he took a four-year-break which pretty much ruined his career, during which he turned down offers for the leading roles for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Bad News Bears, Close Encounters, and other films. |
