IMDB has the date 1979 and the copyright on the film is 1979. I don't know when it was released to theaters but it was made in 1979. I agree, its not one of Spielberg's best efforts. Sorry that I can't yet reply in french. -- Last edit: 2006-03-20 17:52:54 |

![]() “Madness. It's the only word to describe it.” Never has a character spoken truer words about the movie he was in. A movie so bombastic and overblown it had to be produced by two major studios. Rarely have I seen something so depressingly unfunny as John Belushi in this movie. I liked only three things: Toshiro Mifune (of course), Christopher Lee (of course), and the general noise drowning out much of John Williams' awful score. Okay, I liked four things: for its 2-hour duration it really went by quickly. Whatever this movie's reputation/quality, I was quite surprised at the low quality caps that were on display here, so I upgraded them to HD. Timestamps reflect the theatrical cut. Original caps were all from the director's cut and some do not appear in the theatrical cut. These I noted. I also added some vehicles I believe were not listed, but I'm no expert, so feel free to point out any duplicates and I'll merge/delete. I also adjusted several ratings. bonus airport thingy: ![]() ![]() bonus repainted shell blown up at the airport: ![]() ![]() bonus taxi: ![]() bonus blurmobiles: ![]() ![]() bonus blurmobiles from director's cut: ![]() ![]() |
