I have dark memories of a yellow Mercer, a Renault with the typical hood which crashed into a lamp post and a box truck at the end of the film. Last time I saw it was on the last day of 2nd grade, on a tiny TV suspended under the ceiling in the far left corner of the room. ![]() EDIT: I was mistaken, there was no Renault in the chase scene, but I was very positive there was... -- Last edit: 2013-09-21 14:03:51 |

Here's the "Mercer". Detailed enough?:![]() Seats also match a Mercer: ![]() http://www.pirojok.net/uploads/posts/2013-02/1360273156_old_cars_22.jpg I think this can be listed. The box truck is LITERALLY a "box truck" ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2013-09-21 14:20:19 |

Milk truck (anachroristically designed for 1910. Worth listing?) -- Last edit: 2013-09-24 07:01:45 |

Close enough to what? |

Close enough to be identified , obviously. ![]() |

I'd say close enough to be considered as a cartoon truck, but that's all... And why did you modify your message after G-MANN's reply? You do not assume what you said? -- Last edit: 2013-09-24 17:45:48 |

The milkman's truck is similar to the truck that Horace and Jasper drove around in the 1961 Walt Disney film; "Hundred and One Dalmatians" except Horace and Jasper's truck was black and had bore a set of British registration plates from the late 1930s-early 1940s. -- Last edit: 2015-02-06 15:04:25 |

I looked at Edgar's motorbike and the only type that fits the description of Edgar's bike is a 1918 Harley Davidson 18-J with Sidecar. |

But the film is set in 1910. ![]() |

Now that I look at its plates, they look more like West German ones although the abbreviation "GB" was never issued as a German city or town. |
