What a Film ! if you love E-Types then you must get a copy of this . Made in early 1967 it Stars John Phillip Law ( as diabolik ) The Beautifull Marisa Mell ( who Tragically Passed Away of Cancer in 1992 ) and the Great Terry Thomas . The Hero drives an Alloy Dash 3.8 F.H.Coupe , With the Lovely Marisa driveing a Cream Alloy Dash 3.8 F.H.Coupe . Ther is some great E-Type Action in this Film , and although the plot is very tongue in cheek , it is well worth watching . If anyone can tell me more about this Film i would be interested to hear from them !

Don't forget the Italian actor Adolfo Celi(already Largo in "007 Thunderball")in the role of gangster Valmont

I saw this movie on "Mystery Science Theater 3000"...in fact, I believe it was the show's final episode. Absolutely hilarious.

Diabolik was taken by a successful Italian comic ideated in 1962 by Milanese's Giussani sisters(Angela and Lucia),almost inspired at classic French thieves like Arsène Lupin,Vidocq or Fantomas ;of it exists also a porn-parody movie of Nineties'("Diabolix")and a 'toon-TV Series"Diabolik:Track of the Panther"a co-production thru France,USA and Italy of 1998

PS Into comics, the adventures of that thief(named Diabolik after the name of a panther's breed)are located in an imaginary French locality at borders of Belgium,Clerville(another imaginary town that was next to Clerville was Ghenf, that came supposed being in Belgium territory, could be taken inspiration by name from the true town of Gand/Gent)

Some footage of the film was also used in the video for Body Movin', by the Beastie Boys. The whole video was in fact a parody of Diabolik.

Also in Italy exists a parody in musical videoclip:in 2004 the Italian group Tiromancino had performed their hit"Amore Impossibile"in a video directed by the son of Mario Bava(director of 1967 movie of which that video was an homage),Lamberto;into the video was visible also the black Jag E and the pair Diabolik(roled by US-actor of soap"The Bold and the Beautiful"Daniel McVicar)-Eva Kant(roled by Italian actress Claudia Gerini, famous for 1995 movie"Viaggi di Nozze"with Carlo Verdone);at end of videoclip Eva escapes aboard the Jag,betraying Diabolik and taking aboard at side of road a runabout with a guitar(the leader of Tiromancino group,Federico Zampaglione)

Agusta-Bell AB-47J-2 Ranger, the Italian built version.

Agusta-Bell AB-47G, probably built by Agusta, as this is most likely.

^ Possibly, but I honestly can't remember (certainly not to the extent I remember seeing "Sabotage" which was everywhere back in the day).

The Beastie Boys' music video (indeed, I have seen it before), which is actually a bonus feature on the blu-ray, was a lot more fun than the movie. English dubs of these old Italian movies are simply abominable and I just can't get used to them. The voices for Adolfo Celi and Michel Piccoli were particularly dreadful. Even Marisa Mell sounded awful and she dubbed herself! This dub sounds even more dreadful than usual since Terry-Thomas was actually recorded live on set and was not dubbed - what a difference that makes!
Ennio Morricone had a field day with the score for this one, though.

Upgraded to a so-so HD.

bonus hopeless blue screen effect and a passing Mercedes:
