Another bad made-for-TV racing movie I don't see listed here is "The Challengers" (1970) starring Darren McGavin, Anne Baxter, Juliet Mills, Richard Conte, Farley Granger, and Sal Mineo. IMDB's succinct description: "Racers compete in the Grand Prix." Yep, that's it. As I recall, it was a lot of junked F3 cars catching fire and rolling off the track, then exploding like ammunition dumps.
