 Just caught a bit of this today, very dark photography.

Had read the Reader's Digest version as a child, but always thought that book was based on Denis Jenkinson's book about his drive with Stirling Moss in the Mille Miglia '55.

Now I find out Stirling was a tech advisor to the film.
