Station Wagon:

philr wrote Disproportioned mix of many american station wagon parts, looks relatively close to the 1978-81 Century wagon, also looks close to the Buick Estate Wagon/Chevy Caprice estate (shape of the weelwells, rear vertical taillight on the second thumbnail) - It's about as close to GM station wagons as it is to an AMC Eagle!

Finally! Someone adds this film. Now please add Pixar's "Up" to the database! That film had a least a 1930s Ambulance and the nurses' van.

If you have a DVD drive on your computer and a DVD playing program to allows you to make still captures (like PowerDVD) you could do this yourself ;) Or you could download it off the internet. The only thing about vehicles in animated films is that often they don't look like a particular vehicle, they look "generic". I haven't seen Up (I nearly rented it before the Oscars but I got sent other films instead) so I don't know what the vehicles in it look like.

Aren't the station wagon and the American fire truck rather out of place for the UK?

^ Looks 60s/70s, and stage-right mounted cabin, so either Hymac or Priestman (which fits in with where it's set). Hymac is more common in Buckinghamshire (where it's set), so it's actually a Hymac unknown.
However, the claw thing is sized more like a Priestman Mustang so it's a Priestman Mustang.

Sorry mate, but this film has lots of <70s cars, so a 60s digger would therefore make sense, especially because Roald Dahl wrote it in 1970.

There's a very good reason they were in the comments.
