![[Image: saintralph2004title.jpg]](http://pics.imcdb.org/32612/25/saintralph2004title.jpg) This movie is a small wonder in that it manages to be relentlessly upbeat even in the face of utterly depressing adversities, with Adam Butcher, Campbell Scott and Jennifer Tilly transcending their material and lifting the movie well above the tired litany of clichés it wallows in, most obviously the run-of-the-mill character of the headmaster, an unpardonable waste of Gordon Pinsent. Filmed in Canada, and set from fall 1953 to April 1954. bonus sedan: ![[Image: bonus000124.jpg]](http://pics.imcdb.org/32612/25/bonus000124.jpg) > ![[Image: bonus000124-copy.jpg]](http://pics.imcdb.org/32612/25/bonus000124-copy.jpg) bonus foggy forklift: ![[Image: bonus004705.jpg]](http://pics.imcdb.org/32612/25/bonus004705.jpg) > ![[Image: bonus004705-copy.jpg]](http://pics.imcdb.org/32612/25/bonus004705-copy.jpg) bonus pick-up: ![[Image: bonus004952.jpg]](http://pics.imcdb.org/32612/25/bonus004952.jpg) |
