 in japan there was a more recent car themed manga with 28 Volumes called COUNTACH , of course about an average guy who obtains a Lamborghini Countach LP400 and races it on streets against other exotic sports cars

There's an anime OVA series that opal posted here years ago, but I didn't link it since it was/is getting an actual IMDB link to it which'd break the link.

That would be interesting to see given the relative lack of motor-centric Anime... Certainly gives us more excuse to add Countachs to IMCDB :D

 I know Wangan Midnight had several live action adaptations but I never knew they made a live action movie out of Shakotan Boogie too...that's pretty sick... :)
