I don't think so. But it looks like a 1964-65 Rekord...

Most probably a car bought in Germany by an US officer serving there for a while and who later brought it back home...!!!

In the 1969' import guide only Kadett A and B are listed. If you search for "Opel, made for USA, 1950-1966" you got: this list. So the only Opel from the Olympia/Rekord-family sold officially in the USA, was the 1958+ [P]

Okay, sorry for being Captain Obvious. My point was that the car looks trashed, so it's unlikely that a US officer would "bring it back home"...
