Hello!

Great website! It really tests my knowledge of cars. I've been in love with cars since the age of 6 (I'm 47 now). I have a good running knowledge of American cars (1950 to present) but also know about some European makes - Especially Audi's, Volkswagens, many Fiats and Alfa Romeos (I'm Italian).

I have owned many cars and loved most of them:
My first car was a 1974 Capri 2.8 V6 -- you never forget your first love :O
Next up was a 1978 VW Scirocco - Midnight Blue...sigh. Very theft-prone...bye, bye.
Then I bought a 79 Firebird Formula. Wicked ticket bait...bye, bye again.
Several ho hum cars followed including a stripper VW Rabbit and a Plymouth Horizon!
Then Audi love affair started.
In the late 80's I bought a used 1980 Audi 5000S (Euro 100). This is the worst car I ever loved. She was beautiful in chocolate brown and alloy wheels but, a delicate flower indeed.
In 1990 I bought a loaded 87 Audi 5000CS Turbo (I think this was similar to the Euro 200 Model). Very beautiful, posh and fast but not the most reliable car.
Later on I also owned a very reliable 87 4000S (Euro 80)
Then a flood of Hondas, a Grand Cherokee and -- following a sad turn of fortune -- a very used 95 Corolla with over 250,000 miles on the clock. It just ran and ran and I sold it a year later for more than I paid for it!
Then came a 94 Audi 90S and now a 2003 Volkswagen Passat 1.8 turbo.

I hope to be able to post some pictures of my some of my cars soon.

1964 Dodge Dart GT with 273 V8
1971 Dodge Challenger R/T with a 383 Magnum (traded-in by my dumb-ass older brother for a 74 Monte Carlo...what were they thinking?)
