electra225 ◊ 2024-11-25 20:27	This color was "Monacoblau". My mother bought a Golf almost exactly like this one in April 1982. The only important differences wese that it had got five doors nd the engine the 1100cc. It was a very good car, in handling much better than a Fiat Ritmo my father had in the very same period. One winter we had a lot of snow and afterthat ice. The Ritmo was blocked in the centre of the road and my mum arrived with the Golf pushing trailing the Fiat without problem, Both didn't have proper tires that time. The Ritmo was a Diesel and therefore not better in speed. A strange proble of the Golf (one made in Yugoslavia I discovered later) was the paint that was everytime damaged damaged in car wash automatic brushes. In the end the car was bought by my brother-in-law and kept till the mid 90s.
