Not only in Russia .gif ";)") In the DDR the Lada 1600 was the highest premium car, a normal citizen could buy (after 20 years waiting for delivery. Or for incredible much "black money" earlier) - in West Germany it was the second cheapest car after the Skoda 105/120 with a really worse reputation. |

It has a pseudo-Russian plate (from the Republic of Mari-El of all places!!) so it's rather a VAZ. |
