Yes I've swapped the pictures (please refresh the page to see it). However the correction of the pic ratio was necessary, as all pics from the eps 2 and 4 are too tall - the wheels should be round for example here: /vehicle_559361.html I think you are still able to correct them. The correct size with 622 width should be something like 622x350. The previous main image of this page (from ep.1 ): -- Last edit: 2012-12-22 14:59:15 |

I'm not able to correct them all, so if it has wrong dimensions, do it for me or make it automatically somehow, please. |
◊ 2012-12-23 00:17 |
I'm not able too - validators can. |
◊ 2012-12-23 00:24 |
Ask antp to give you validating powers, he can't refuse. There aren't enough actively checking the contributions. |
◊ 2012-12-23 00:32 |
You've uploaded 95 with the wrong dimensions, they have to be corrected individually by you, there's no way to do it automatically. |

Happens to everyone sometimes - pity we didn't notice, that things are going in wrong direction, when the very first few were uploaded. ![]() |

There were no warnings and errors after I submitted picture so I thought that is fine. I give up - I spent many hours to submit them and I won't spend any additional time to manually resize. |
◊ 2012-12-23 01:07 |
So you want someone else to download them, fix the ratio, and upload them one by one? If you have them on your computer you can do a batch conversion, then all you have to do is re-upload. |

I don't know how do you guys store images (physically on the hdd or database binary) but it can be done automatically by a script or application. I haven't got these screenshots anymore. And I will not download every each of them, change size and re-up, sorry. If you delete them, I will be fine. -- Last edit: 2012-12-23 01:14:52 |

Then all your work would have been for nothing ![]() That only happens if the image is too big (either in height or width or file size) or the wrong kind of file. Anything else won't be detected. -- Last edit: 2012-12-23 01:22:31 |

A "download all" would be a good option, but that's not possible yet. Another suggestion for antp... Do a few at a time, there's no hurry. |
◊ 2012-12-23 01:28 |
I think Antp's already got a long to-do list and he doesn't do these things very often. It wouldn't take ventr1s that long to save 96 images (15 minutes, maybe?) EDIT: Oh, wait it's only the ones from episodes 2 & 4. So even less time than that. -- Last edit: 2012-12-23 01:33:49 |

I know but there are often contributions waiting that need fixing. You have to go from page to page to retrieve all images. -- Last edit: 2012-12-23 01:32:18 |

Let's validate this like it is (tomorrow!) only once - as exception. We will correct the ratio during identification. Many of these cars need some information. EDIT!!! Ah - sorry! I never used the tool we have here at the site. I thought, it is possible to change ratio of already listed pics, but now I see you can do it only once when you upload the pic (what in this case means re-upload) ![]() -- Last edit: 2012-12-23 01:40:42 |

@chicomarx: Well, the contributor who got it wrong should sort that out. Ventr1s made a mistake in not keeping his files. -- Last edit: 2012-12-23 01:40:18 |

I don't think that is my fault at all. On uploading picture page, there is a checkbox which says: "[ ] Automatic resize/recompress picture if needed (if this option is not checked, an error message will be shown if the picture does not meet criteria)." I assumed that by checking this box, picture will be automatically resized. If the improper picture passes website validation and has been uploaded without any warning/errors, that's the fault of website developer and/or designer, not mine. I am sorry guys, I don't want to take that into a form of battle or sth. I don't feel responsible for that and don't want to do such extra manual work like reuploading 100 pics, no matter how long it could take. Such job would be a nightmare for me. "Ventr1s made a mistake in not keeping his files." -- I removed those screenshots I've submitted, but I still have kept all made screenshots; there are tons of them and I also don't want to find them one by one. -- Last edit: 2012-12-23 02:03:39 |

@ventr1s - you've made a noticeable and high quality contribution to the site in a very short period since joining. I hope you won't let this local difficulty put you off, however it gets resolved. |
◊ 2012-12-23 02:11 |
@ventr1s: The website can't detect images that are the wrong aspect ratio (squeezed or stretched). As Weasel1984 said above, that is the problem with your captures, not the image size. -- Last edit: 2012-12-23 02:11:29 |

Did I? ![]() Anyway, honeslty I thought it will be more easy to correct, not very easy, but "more easy" - without "re-up". ![]() |
◊ 2012-12-23 17:16 |
Ok guys, I will re-up them, but not very soon as I haven't got access to my home CPU. Please remove/archive that discussion. |

I can more or less automatically do batch-resize of pictures on the server if they have the wrong ratio, but I have to know which ones in the files list (that I can access either sorted by vehicle number of by file date) I wasn't much on the site in the last days - which ones have to be fixed? (just give a range of IDs or an example of a few of these) -- Last edit: 2012-12-26 00:32:13 |

All of the last 95 added and awaiting validation: /movie.php?resultsStyle=asImages&sortBy=5&id=974105 (though I guess there are pictures on other movies added between them who may be affected) |

Done. They seem right, now. Next time, do not hesitate to ask me: it took me 2 minutes, no more ![]() -- Last edit: 2012-12-26 01:09:18 |
