Wasn't there a Portuguese or Spanish version like this ? (van based wagon with a one-piece rear window and edgy, slidinge rear side windows)... |

A scene from Italy? The late Autobianchi A110 in the background has an Italian plate. And obviously white indicators. |

No it was a dealer in Germany. |

I remember having seen a Mini wagon with a one-piece rear window when I was in Freiburg im Breisgau, some 10 years ago. It was a red one... |

There was a UK aftermarket accessory conversion in the 60s made in fibreglass; can't remember if side or top-hinged. |

What's up with the Heinkel Kabinenroller? Worth to list due its rarity? |
◊ 2012-08-29 23:23 |
Hi, Mike! You're right and by what it's possible to see, this one is a Portuguese Mini-Ima (introduced in 1977 and made here). Other details like the rear mudflaps and the type of stickers seen on the windscreen (they have the shape of the mandatory Portuguese ones - insurance and IPO) help to show that it was brought directly from Portugal to be sold in that dealer. ![]() |

Unfortunately not. The car was in bad condition, so "der Checker" decided, that it won´t be the appropriate car... |

So he hadn't realized its rarity. He should leave the checking of classic cars better by the experts with real knowledge. |
◊ 2012-08-30 20:08 |
Well, he is searching for the cars by order of some people. And the couple of this episode wanted a classic car in good condition and for a relatively small price. |

Thanks! Although it was advertised as a 1967 car, all the internal details match those from the 1977 Mini Ima. The black vinyl three-piece dash with the two glovebox compartments was a very common period accessory. |

... and it has 70s (Clubman-style in UK) seats. |

They made a mistake in the advertise, it´s indeed a 1977 Mini. |
