Sedan. Not as rare as a 2 door but rarer than a Wagon. Too bad an AMC collector couldnt get to this first.Definitely a dying breed. I think very highly of these cars. It was a bit of a failure in its day, but a 4-wheel-drive wagon/sedan/coupe line was a worthwhile concept that people are finally accepting. Just ask Subaru.Same idea, but this car preceeded most of what Subaru is getting rich off of now. |

cko, I agree with you. I've always had a soft spot for these cars (wagons and SX/4 especially) and it angers me whenever I hear Subaru say they came up with "the world's first sport utility wagon. This model is in the 1981-1987 range. It could be narrowed down further if more of the hood was shown. |
