Pretty good movie, I recommend checking it out. Done uploading now, and will post some additional pics of the cars soon. A couple notes: I was not 100% on how to list some of the racecars, so those may need to be edited by someone with more experience so that they are labeled and listed properly. Also, The Monte Carlo SS is used through half the movie, then they take it and turn it into the race car version. Since the Race version appears to only retain the body style, and probably not much else off the actual Monte (and I am sure it's an entirely seperate car) I gave it it's own entry. But if someone feels the Race and street versions should be merged, then feel free to do so. (Both versions are used a lot in the movie, and it is the movies main vehicle.) -- Last edit: 2012-01-21 08:34:01 |

Model car seen in movie: Mercedes seen at very end of movie (Not close enough to be worth adding, in my opinion): A couple Go Karts: Also, the cars on the Cover of the DVD appear to be a New Camaro (2010+) and a 80s/early 90s style Camaro. Neither are in the movie. In fact, I must admit that the case is a pretty bad representation of the movie itself and makes it look more like Speed Racer, then what it is. Actually, There was a song called Rocksteady in the movie, but it was sung by a Jamaican Reggae band I forget the name of. The movie has a heavy reggae influence, due to the fact the main character is of Jamaican decent, and living in New York. The track used in the Movie is Accord Speedway: http://www.accordspeedway.com/ and a lot of the race cars are actual cars that race on that track (or used to, at least). EDIT: The band is called Steel Pulse. and here's their version of Rocksteady http://youtu.be/AnyCkVRpG5w -- Last edit: 2012-01-22 00:57:45 |
