The first movie I saw in theaters alone, without the company or even suggestion of my parents. And it was awesome! In the long shadow of Barbenheimer walked a lone third option no one payed any attention to. An option that didn't care about politics or matriarchal conspiracies or record-breaking box offices. An option that just wanted to have its good old-fashioned raunchy, un-PC fun for an hour and a half. And it did that with more fun, dirt and heart than Margot Robbie could have ever done (I haven't seen Oppenheimer so I can't rate that)

I don't really have the time to go through it again though, so anyone wanting to do so is welcome.

From memory I only recall a Chevy S10 **, BMW G30 * and at least one GMTK2YC police car. And some poster on Doug's wall at the end of the movie, I think it was even a BMW Z1??...

It's tragic the depths the American comedy has sunk to since the days of Buster Keaton, Abbott & Costello and the likes. I thought the movie was going somewhere as the opening scene is funny, but it quickly degenerated into the usual idiotic nonsense about American adults who can think of nothing except sex and penises, except they're dogs. They could've at least found a male dog to play Reggie.

bonus [*][*] garbage truck (it wakes Reggie up):

bonus freeze-framed step van of sorts:

bonus whatever:

^I don't think you should take it that seriously. It's basically Ted but with dogs. Not the best movie in the world, but it doesn't want to be either. It's just meant to be a fun adult movie, it's obviously never gonna be selected for preservation in the Library of Congress.

^ Like I said, the opening sequence was original and funny, but once Bug came into the picture, the movie threw that concept out of the window for constant references of all kinds to sex, penises, defecating and bodily fluids, like the worst of Tom Green's drivel. I never found that funny and never will. Note that the only thing I knew about this movie going into it was that it had two dogs on the poster, so I had no expectations at all. I just hoped it would be funny. Talk about dashing one's hopes...
