Austin J4 van. Likely to be one of the first Austin J4 vans without the grille bar. ![[Image: press-photo-austin-j4-van.jpg]](http://pics.imcdb.org/558/press-photo-austin-j4-van.jpg) Press photo Austin J4 van. After some research about why some Austin J4 vans were fitted with the chromed grille bar (the Morris version never had it from introduction), it appears the grille bar was probably deleted in about mid-1965. |
