Lots of products placement in this movie. Was the following thing an ad for Citroën? ![]() ![]() There are two nice chases in the movie, with the 300C, Cien, Mack truck and Hummer H2. -- Last edit: 2005-12-06 00:04:21 |

Peut-être un bâtiment qui date de l'époque où Citroën est arrivé aux États-Unis ? Ou bien ils avaient déjà changé de logo ? |

hehe. I think there's a Ferrari in the film for about 25-50 frames. It's when Lincoln has a nightmare in the very beginning. All kinds of things flash when he drowns... It's a quite old Ferrari. Part of the dash, a bit of front and the badge and the roof are visible for a couple of frames each. |

Sorry. I'm so blind. I watched the movie again yesterday and started fiddling with slow motion. I rushed to to post that comment. I should pay more attention... |

The Nissan Murano appears several times as a background vahicle, along with Nissan´s 350z, Chrysler´s Crossfire, etc... A photo of one of these Muranos. http://xs66.xs.to/pics/06053/PDVD_130.png And the Hummer H2 is actually a H2 SUT: http://xs66.xs.to/pics/06053/PDVD_039.png -- Last edit: 2006-02-01 18:15:57 |

Do you know in which city this scene was recorded? |
|

You did'nt ask me, but I think it was probably NY or Chigago |

Yes, that's something strange: why in movies supposed to be in the future don't they make the cars look like old cars. Would not be too difficult, and more realistic, to see a car of the current model look like a 50-year-old car in a movie that is supposed to be 50 years in the future. |

Do you know in which city this scene was recorded?[/quote] Quite a bit of the filming was done in Detroit (strangely enough, and in the middle of January, if I remember correctly), although that particular scene, if not largely CG, was probably in LA (I don't reconize any of the buildings from the Detroit skyline). |

This film will age badly, like those films set in the eighties set around today but every car is from the eighties. You'd think with the endless budget of Bay, he could at least put some fancy coachwork on the cars (not like the 300c, that was still obviously a 300c) |
