chris1983rangie ◊ 2012-05-22 09:04	G'day, This scene was filmed at Essendon Airport (disused Aviation Fire Station)in Melbourne, Australia. The Land Rover in the middle belongs to me its is a 1969 Series 2A LWB 109" Ex Australian Army FFR (Fitted For Radio) the 101 is also Ex Australian Army too! our vehicles were painted with mud and when dried looked like the desert tan colour, later was washed off with a high pressure cleaner! cheers, Chris -- Last edit: 2012-06-07 03:14:45

I heard through a member from my Land Rover Club, a fella that lives nearby his property owns a Tatra Truck. I knew what they are but i thought wow one of those here in Australia? Then i saw it for the first time while on set for this Killer Elite Film. The person that owns it mentioned he imported it from Czech Republic WoW. i believe its a T813 or a T816 model, please correct me if im wrong but these things are amazing! This one was only used as a Prop it ran but had Air Leaks in the brake lines, i still remember when they reversed it off the semi trailer the Truckie was concerned about its poor brakes....LOL....! The vehicle was sent away to be Painted in Desert Tan Colour Free Paint Job!
