dsl ◊ 2011-06-19 17:05	Ho hum. NLW xxxL series was issued Aug 72 - July 73 for Home Delivery Export Scheme. Nothing on DVLA or mycarcheck.com but hpicheck.com says Ford Escort 1300 Base 1298cc. Unfortunately I think this is a Jag XJ6, possibly S1 and even with the 2.8 rear badge for the unfortunate engine with chronic unreliability which was intended mainly for markets such as Italy with their tax regime. 2.8 was launched Oct 68 alongside the normal 4.2 and quietly abandoned in Oct 73 when S2 launched. So 72 Jag XJ6 S1 2.8.
