bedford vans/trucks were defunct come 1986 and the only vehicles made in their name after 1986 were army trucks and ambulances surplus bodies chassis were assembled and licenced by leyland daf who bought the rights otherwise general motors would have had to pay a massive levy for not fulfilling a govt contract so thats the reason.Astra max vans were made then badged by vauxhall and the bedford rascal ecame suzuki carry as they had the rights bought for that. |
