Ford used "Wideside" for their pickup box name?

I thought Ford used 'Styleside' (I know they did in later years)

EDIT: FWIW NADA lists it as Styleside even back in 57

Yes, according to the Wagner book, it is listed as 'Styleside'.

Based on the size of the wheel, I would certainly say it is 1957 Ford F-100 Styleside with 8 foot bed version.

Should we even use the bed name for these trucks? We've never done it for the Fords and to start now after so many Ford trucks already listed on the site would be counter-productive, in my opinion.

According to the Wagner book, these Ford F-100 were available as 6.5 foot "Platform" (his word), 8 foot Styleside and "Stake" body (his word) types.

But, it is your call, ford_guy [:spamafote]

That pickup truck goes flying off a cliff and into a river. Vic Rivers (don't laugh), the stunt driver, died doing that. :(
