Its a Vauxhall or earlier Bedford and definitely assembled in the UK. I believe its the Bedford it was common to remove the large BEDFORD lettering on the grille that was more suited to the CF van. Vauxhall insisted on fitting twin rear fog lamps on all Astras and these were mounted in the bumper as in the second thumbnail (therefore the reversing lights in both light clusters). http://www.flickr.com/photos/29502429@N02/3056037556/ I remember the heated argument in Germany and the Vauxhall engineer responsible for the decision. Opels had a single rear fog lamp included in the near-side light cluster. |
