Looking at it I think you are right about it being an SS II, but the 1934 to 1936 model, and I think that those headlights are add-ons, a pair of Lucas P100s like those would probably have cost most of the price of an SS II. See Link to "www.google.co.uk" |

yes, S.S. II, but I do not know if Jaguar name appears somewhere as the "II" with Jaguar name are listed "II 3½ Litre Jaguar", I do not know if it applies here. |

No, IIRC the Jaguar model name only applied to certain models, mostly saloons (although some authorities apply it to the S.S.100, but I don't think that's correct). This would be too old to bear the name. |
