Will be hard to say that a Porsche is a Finnish car rather than a German one :D (no matter where it was actually built)

What is more "German" than "Finnish" about a Porsche? Anyway, see forums.

Designed in Germany, by German engineers etc. by Porsche which is an independent German company.

How do you know they are German? Saabs head designer is Cantonese, IIRC. And most of the car could've been designed by subcontractors wherever.

Yes, your other posting with Finland made me think about it. Anyone interested in an nerdic smart-aleck-excess? Yes?
Then let us check the Volvo's and Saab's in this forum, if they perhaps could be Finnish made.

How about Talbot Horizons?

Ingo DE

Which Horizon? For a short time the Sunbeam Horizon was sold (at least in Germany) as a Horizon with Talbot-logo, too, even it was a different car than the Simca Horizon.

Or do you mean the Plymouth Horizon for teh US-market?

The Simca/Talbot Horizon was assembled by Valmet for some time.

The old SAAB 900 Convertible was assembled in Finland...

Did these Valmet-made cars had any details, which seperate them from the original versions?

Andrew Nicholson EN

thats because the old SAAB 900 is scandinavian

1997-2002. It was only partly made in finnland, it can only be told by the VIN (a U for Uusikaupunki (Finnland) a S for Stuttgart (Germany))
